High blood pressure or hypertension is a chronic problem that could lead to several health complications like cardiovascular diseases, aneurysm, kidney failure, hardened arteries, stroke etc. The exact implication of high blood pressure is when the blood pressure is somewhere between 120/80 and 139/89. This creates excessive pressure on the arteries and interrupts with the normal functioning of the heart.

Appropriately called ‘the silent killer’ by medical experts, high blood pressure is identified by symptoms such as headaches, dizziness, nausea and blurred vision. However, in many cases hypertension comes without any symptoms, which makes the situation far more dangerous.

How to fight away high blood pressure

Include fresh fruits and vegetables in your diet to maintain internal health and reduce chances of hypertension. Keep your heart healthy and your body active by exercising regularly.
