Premature Hair loss
One in every two women is affected by hair loss due to increasing pollution and stress level in our lives. Premature hair-loss is a serious problem that is striking more and more younger women today. Though, it is not a life-threatening problem, or a debilitating one, but it really shatters a woman's confidence and self-esteem because a woman's hair is linked to her femininity. Scalp hair grows faster in women than in men. A certain amount of hair sheds daily, which is estimated to be 50 to 80 hair. Hair loss beyond this estimation indicates some scalp or hair problem. Eye-brow hair and eye-lashes are replaced every four to five months. The average life of hair ranges from two to four years. The average area of head in a adult is about 420 square inches, which has about 100,000 to 120,000 hairs.
